BETTER BUST

She revealed the best neckline styles to shop

  • Julie Sagoskin, Lifestyle Reporter

A FASHION brand founder is taking the struggle out of finding flattering fits for those with slim frames but generous busts.

Her celeb-approved designs are meant to make you feel more confident while cutting costs, as there are no quick fixes needed.

Alice Kim is the founder of the fashion company PerfectDD.

Years ago, She left her banking gig to design clothing for well-endowed petites — that is, big cup size and small band size — which are proportioned to balance out their chest.

Rather than having to size up, the brand's shirts, hoodies, and dress designs are tailor-made for their busty bodies with no alterations or adjustments needed.

Their classic button-down, which has plenty of famous fans including Salma Hayek, and Sydney Sweeney, features a hidden button that prevents pulling and prevents buttons from popping open.

These "no gaping" creations have left many mouths agape.

Her styles, which fit up to an M-cup size, are shaking up the industry which she believes is what needs to change, not women's bodies, where the average bra size in America is a 34DD.

That's why the company abides by a "boob first" philosophy when creating their designs.

As a 32DD cup, her goal has been to uplift other women in their clothing as well as their mindset.

It's all about helping them feel "sexy" rather than "self-conscious."

"We are meeting them in their current stage — not where they want to be — because you are beautiful just as you are now," Kim told The U.S. Sun.

"We are boob-positive and celebrate big boobs and want to change the conversation and educate society that we're not abnormal," she continued.

"It's the brands that need to cater to bigger busts and it's not just something to be sexualized."

NECKLINE KNOW-HOW

Alice also shared her tips for what you should focus on when shopping for a more flattering fit.

"The neckline is extremely important — a top has to have the right neckline height," she said.

"If it's too high, like a crew neckline, it can look like a shield or bulletproof vest," she added.

"If it's too long, it leaves you too exposed."

Instead, she loves a sweetheart, off-the-shoulder, V-neck, or scooped neck.

"The focus becomes where the skin is exposed, so open necklines are key," she said.

EMBRACE THAT HOURGLASS

Make sure not to let your waistline fit go to waste.

"Creating or synching a waist creates an hourglass shape," she said.

"A defined waist takes attention away from the chest."

An easy trick is to use a belt.

MONEY-SAVING BRILLIANCE

By investing in her line of button-downs and dresses, which are mostly under $250, you can save on your style.

"I always say that now you can say bye-bye to safety pins and stick-on tape," she said.

After all, she is all too familiar with using both items herself before founding her life-changing brand.

"You also don't need to spend more money on tailoring because our styles will fit your body," she said.

Kim previously spoke with The U.S. Sun about how she's had customers cancel breast reduction surgery after finding her designs.

She also opened up about how she was inspired to start her company due to her own fit issues.

"It's just that when clothes don't fit properly, it draws attention to your boobs popping out, and when you're swimming in something and look like a tent, you look bigger than you are."
