I JULY 17, 1968 Laurel couple married in Methodist ceremony Friday Photo by Shannon Studies Mr. and Mrs Robert William Campbell Miss Darlene Frickel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, William Frickel, became the bride of Robert William Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Campbellasin an evening ceremony performed Friday, July 5, in the Laurel Methodist Church.
The Rev. John Bartram officiated at the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of yellow and white gladioli, Miss Karen Keener, accompanied by Miss Nicolette Cashmore, sang "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord's Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attired in a floor length white wedding gown of chantilly lace fashioned with a scalloped neckline, long tapered lace sleeves, and fitted bodice. Her full lace-tiered skirt was decorated with sequins and fell to a chapel-length train in the back. Her elbow length veil of silk illusion was held in place with a pearl and rhinestone crown. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and white gladioli, Miss Linda Frickel, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Beverly Deines of Park City, cousin of the bride, and Miss Rebecca Bauer, Miss Brenda Deines of Park City, and Randy Frickel, cousins of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. The bride's attendants were identically dressed in floor length A-line gowns of lime green satin styled with a lace bodice, elbow-length sleeves, and scalloped neckline. Theit headpieces were a matching pill box hat with short veils; and they carried cascade bouquets of yellow gladioli and white roses. Tony Hicks of Havre was best man, Ushers were Dwain Frickel of Laurel, brother of the bride, and Don Campbell of Laurel, brother of the groom. Mrs.
Frickel, mother of the bride, wore a two-piece bonded lace rose -colored ensemble with beige accessories and a white carnation corsage; Mrs. Campbell, mother of the groom, chose a two-piece yellow knit sheath with white accessories and a white carnation corsage. A reception, in the church basem*nt, was held following the wedding ceremony. A three-tiered white wedding cake decorated with yellow rosebuds and topped with a miniature bride and groom centered the bride's table. The cake was cut and served by Mrs.
Adolph Frickel, godmother of the bride, and Mrs. Glen Kirkpatrick of Billings, sister of the groom. Attending the serving table were Mrs. Ben Klotz of Billings, aunt of the bride; and Mrs. Jerry Mayers of Billings.
Miss Charlene Reisinger, Mrs. Gary Kindsfater, and Miss Gloria Kroll were in charge of the gift table and Miss Connie Derhiem of Billings, a cousin of the bride, attended the guest book. The couple left immediately after the wedding for Wakegan, where the bridegroom is stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Station. The bride is a 1968 graduate of Laurel High School. Campbell, also a graduate of Laurel High School, attended Northern Montana College at Havre and Eastern Montana College in Billings.
Special guests at the wedding included the bride's grandmothers, Mrs. Theodore Derhiem of Billings and Mrs. Dave Frickel of Laurel; and out of town guests Mr. and Mrs. Albert Derhiem, Mr.

Calvin Brester, sang "Because" and "The Lord's Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A- line floor length gown of white peau de soi with nylon marquisette overlay. The yoke and long, tapered sleeves were accented with inserts of alencon lace; and the matching bow. Her elbow length veil of nylon net was secured with a petal headpiece with seed pearl and rhinestone trim; and she carried a cascade bouquet of feathered white carnations accented with yellow roses and outlined with large salaal leaves edged in gold, Her only jewelry was pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Wiley chose for her daughter's wedding a peach silk embroidered ensemble with, matching accessories and a white carnation corsage; Mrs. Streck, mother of the groom, wore an off white suit with green accessories and a yellow carnation corsage. A reception and lunch was held in the church basem*nt following the ceremony.
